Anna Camp is sharing some big personal news. The actress from Scream 7 is vowing to own who she is as part of her latest reveal.
At 43 years old, she is ready to make some changes, and that includes discussing her sexuality with the public. Anna says that she’s not afraid to do so despite any judgements or assumptions others might make. The actress who portrays Jessica Bowden in the latest instalment of the horror franchise got very candid in a recent interview.
Anna Camp has gone public about her sexuality
Anna has come out as bisexual. The woman who had recurring roles on various TV shows shared the news on an episode of I’ve Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario. That episode will air on Tuesday, though some clips from the interview were shared with People ahead of time.
“I’m really proud to be bisexual,” said Anna. While she acknowledges that she is taking a risk by revealing this publicly, she states that “I only get one life, and I want to be happy.” This revelation comes months after confirming her relationship with Jade Whipkey last year. Prior to sharing that news, Anna had previously been married to Michael Mosley and Skylar Astin.
At the June premiere of her film Bride Hard, Anna made her romance with Jade red-carpet official. Anna says that her goal for now is to grow and learn. She adds that not being afraid to open up has been a part of her evolution into her 40s. Scream 7 came out in theatres across the United States in late February, already grossing over $100 million at the box office.
Among Anna’s most recognizable TV roles early in her career was as Gwen Grandy on The Mindy Project. Mindy Kaling, the star of that show, paid tribute to kids on Instagram in January of last year.
