Jack Harlow loves the hustle and bustle of New York City. The rapper recently opened up about his dating life while also promoting his new album.
The Kentucky-born singer’s album Monica marks his first release in three years and the fourth of his career. His second album, Come Home the Kids Miss You, earned plenty of Grammy Award nominations for Best Album, while Churchill Downs was nominated for Best Song from that album. Jack recently relocated to the Big Apple, and it seems to have done him a world of good.
Jack says he doesn’t think he’s “in the wrong place”
New York City is the place to be if you’re Jack Harlow. The Billboard Music Award winner say the Big Apple gave him “a jolt” in his life. On the New York Times’ podcast Popcast, Jack was asked whether the city that never sleeps is a bad place to find love. “I don’t feel like I’m in the wrong place,” he shared.
His song All of My Friends from his new album seems to suggest Jack can rush into things when meeting a potential mate. Part of the lyrics discuss how his friends tell him he comes on a little too strong. Throughout the interview, he seemed to avoid any questions about his current dating life. He did say that the final song on the album Say Hello is an “accurate” representation of where he’s at romantically speaking today.
Among the big names previously linked to Jack was podcaster Emma Chamberlain. In December, she famously took a lie detector test, denying the rumors that she and Jack were ever together.
Jack believes New York is the place to be in this stage of his life. He believes it was important for him to meet more people who share similar goals and ambitions to his. Monica came out in stores on Friday.
