Superstar Taylor Swift and her groom, Travis Kelce, are no doubt in a lavender haze following their dazzling wedding on Friday, July 3. The much-anticipated event took place at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. While the venue may not look romantic, some wedding guests have revealed that it was a beautiful, magical, and unforgettable affair.
Swifties have been waiting for Taylor and Travis’ wedding since he popped the question in August 2025. And while the couple placed a premium on privacy and security for their special day, some surprising details about Travis and Taylor’s nuptials have emerged.
Here’s everything we know so far about what went down during the wedding the world can’t stop talking about.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding guest list was packed full of big names

Approximately 1,000 guests attended Travis and Taylor’s nuptials. Besides close family and friends, including Taylor’s childhood bestie, Abigail Anderson, the guest list was stacked with A-listers. E! News reported that the guest list included Taylor’s longtime besties Zoe Kravitz, Gigi Hadid, and her boyfriend, Bradley Cooper, as well as Selena Gomez and her husband, Benny Blanco.
Of course, there were plenty of singers and songwriters at the event, including singer Ed Sheeran and his wife, Cherry Seaborn, Sabrina Carpenter, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert, and Benson Boone. Taylor’s longtime collaborator, Jack Antonoff, was also in the mix, as well as the Haim sisters.
In addition, actor Jason Sudeikis, Reese Witherspoon, model Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Jennifer Lopez, Brad Pitt, British TV host Graham Norton, and Jimmy Fallon also scored invites.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end also had plenty of representation from the football world, including Tom Brady, Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel, and Rob Gronkowski. Travis’ teammate and good friend, Patrick Mahomes, and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, were also in attendance, among many more. Notably, controversial player Harrison Butker was NOT invited.
However, there was still some controversy surrounding the event. According to The Express Tribune, the executive chair of Amentum Holdings, Steven J. Demetriou, was spotted arriving for the festivities. Page Six snapped a photo of his arrival.
Amentum Holdings has a contract with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, also known as ICE. The company is currently the prime government contractor for an El Paso, Texas, ICE detention facility. With Taylor’s political leanings have been a topic of curiosity for years, this, for many fans, is not a good look.
Adam Sandler served as officiant at Taylor and Travis’ wedding

The bride and groom’s choice not to have a wedding party was a shock. Rumors had swirled about who was already set to stand up for Taylor and Travis. Instead, Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, served as the groom’s Best Man, while Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift, was her Man of Honor.
One of Taylor’s reps issued a statement regarding the nuptials. “The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler,” the statement read. “The bride and groom’s wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom.”
The statement continued, “Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.” Now, we just need to see an official wedding photo!
An insider told PEOPLE, “Taylor walked down the aisle to a stage where they said ‘I do.’ Their vows were about 20 minutes each.” In a romantic touch, the couple reportedly read their vows from golden books. It seems that personal touches throughout the festivities made the celebration feel special.
Once the couple was officially wed, a message appeared on a giant billboard outside the arena. The lavender-hued sign read, “JUST&T MARRIED!”
What guests have said about Taylor Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce
The tea is slowly spilling about Taylor’s dream wedding to Travis. Wedding guest Adam Aron, CEO of AMC Theatres, posted his thoughts via social media before deleting the post. According to Entertainment Weekly, Aron described the setting. “Immediately upon entry, everything … floors, walls, ceilings … was draped in peach and white. Large blown-up pictures of Taylor and Travis at each age, year by year … were on display,” he said. “Somehow magically, someone created an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat.”
Then, he discussed the bride and groom’s ceremony looks. “After some relaxing and mellow romantic songs played … a few violins and cello ushered in the wedding party,” Aron shared. “Headlined by handsome Travis in a white tux, and a jaw-dropping Taylor in a stunning white wedding dress with a long-veiled train.”
As for music? The legendary Paul McCartney performed I Want to Hold Your Hand by the Beatles. And Taylor’s friend, Stevie Nicks, also sang at the reception. A source told PEOPLE that the guests dined on Italian favorites, along with passed trays and sushi. The insider added, “There were bars everywhere.”
Singer Maren Morris shared a photo via Instagram of a lace-trimmed ivory handkerchief, which was reportedly a gift for attendees. It featured a monogram of the newlywed’s first initials, accompanied by the wedding location and date. Under the monogram, lyrics from Taylor’s hit, Blank Space, read “So it’s gonna be forever….” Of course, that song is one of the groom’s favorites.
Finally, music video director and Taylor’s frequent collaborator, Joseph Kahn, shared via Instagram, “What I will say about the wedding was it was so much funnier and emotional than expected, and as big as it was, it also felt very intimate.”
