Meghan Markle may be returning to podcasting again. She is scheduled to appear on an Australian podcast next month in a guest appearance.
The Duchess of Sussex formerly hosted the Archetypes podcast from 2022 to 2023 under a Spotify deal. Her Confessions of a Female Founder podcast, launched with Lemonada Media in April 2025. It has been on hiatus since last year.
Is Meghan planning to “resurrect her dead podcast?”
RadarOnline reported that Meghan’s Australia trip will be a test for whether podcasting is in her future.
Although the trip’s itinerary has not been released, her appearance on the Her Best Life podcast was announced. The Besties company show was first launched and co-hosted by Jackie “O” Henderson and Gemma O’Neill. This would be in conjunction with her Besties brand speaking engagement.
According to one source, “The expectation is that Meghan Markle will cautiously step back into the podcasting arena during the Australia visit, but in a very measured way.” Instead of relaunching podcasting, she can first gauge interest and enter cautiously. “A guest spot allows her to reconnect with listeners and reintroduce herself into that space while keeping the pressure relatively low,” the source added.
Per another insider, “The expectation is that Meghan Markle will cautiously step back into the podcasting arena during the Australia visit, but in a very measured way.
The source added that Meghan is seeking ways to revive podcasting opportunities. “From her team’s perspective, the trip creates a ready-made spotlight where she can remind audiences that podcasting is still something she intends to pursue,” the source said. “If the guest appearance lands well and generates the kind of interest they are hoping for, the idea is that it could become “the first step toward reviving her own podcast projects.”
