Scary Movie’s Marlon Wayans Reveals NSFW Reason He Never Married

Marlon Wayans is opening up about his personal life with his signature humor. The Scary Movie star recently explained why he has never married, and his blunt, NSFW answer quickly grabbed attention online.

Marlon Wayans reveals why he didn’t get married

Wayans shared his take during a stand-up set featured in a vlog posted in March. The comedian, now in his 50s, spoke to a group at the show and casually brought up his relationship status. “I’m 53. I ain’t been married yet,” he said before adding his now-viral line: “No, I just don’t want to waste this d**k.”

He leaned further into the joke, saying, “There’s a lot of needy people in this world that need d**k. And I don’t want to deprive the world.” The crowd reaction made it clear the bit landed as intended. The moment came while he was interacting with a group celebrating a bachelorette party, which added to the playful tone of the exchange.

Marlon Wayans also took a playful jab at the idea of marriage. He joked that it feels exciting at the start, but might feel different later in life. At the same time, he has shared a deeper reason before. In a 2024 interview, he spoke about his late mother, Elvira Alethia. He said she influenced his choice in a big way. He recalled telling her she would always be his No. 1 before she passed away in 2020.

Outside his personal life, Marlon Wayans has built a solid run in comedy and film. He broke through with the Scary Movie franchise and movies like White Chicks, often teaming up with his brother Shawn Wayans. He has stayed active over the years through stand-up, acting, and producing.

In 2025, he appeared in the supernatural horror film Him. He earned praise for playing Isaiah White, an aging football legend with eight championships to his name. In addition, Wayans is set to return in Scary Movie 6, which is scheduled to release on June 5, 2026.
