Donald Trump Slammed By The View Host Over Controversial Fundraising Email

Whoopi Goldberg has once again lambasted Donald Trump and his administration, this time for using pictures of the dignified transfer of six fallen US soldiers in a fundraiser email. The Sister Act star called out the President’s seemingly casual attitude towards soldiers who have lost their lives in the war against Iran, going as far as to say that citizens have stopped buying his “BS” now.

Whoopi Goldberg blasts Donald Trump over controversial email

On the March 16 episode of her daytime talk show, the veteran actress and TV host slammed the Republican Party member for supposedly leveraging the deaths of American soldiers to further his election campaign.

“I don’t understand,” a frustrated Whoopi Goldberg exclaimed on The View. “I just don’t understand. These are human beings that are dying, and y’all are acting like it’s not a big deal. This is a volunteer army. People volunteer to take care of this country, and this is how you treat them?”

Notably, the Donald Trump administration recently issued a fundraiser email featuring pictures of a dignified transfer. When asked about whether it was an appropriate thing to do, he simply shifted blame, stating that he has a lot of people working for him.

Goldberg also fired a shot at Trump for keeping his cap on in the fundraiser email picture, stating, “And you keep your hat on?!” Notably, she had previously criticized the POTUS for not removing his hat as military officials carried away caskets of dead US soldiers.

“Just remember, these are human beings and real fathers and mothers and brothers and sisters of people whose lives were snuffed out because this man decided to go to war and not explain it to anybody, not explain what the point of what we’re doing is. You said you don’t want regime change, you’re not going to do it, and here you are … doing it. I’m sorry, but I don’t think people are buying your BS anymore. I just don’t think so,” the 70-year-old remarked as she concluded her rant.
