The police arrested Spears on March 4 in Ventura County, California. It was on suspicion of driving under the influence of a combination of alcohol and drugs. Officers booked Spears early the next morning and later released her under a cite-and-release process. A court date is scheduled for May 4.

Star Magazine exclusively reported that after Britney Spears’ arrest, her son Jayden has been taking care of her. A source claimed, “He’s become a huge emotional support for her and [is] doing things for her that her assistants usually do like running errands.” Adding that he “does it all with a great attitude.” The source emphasized, “He’s a very compassionate kid. It’s actually quite remarkable.”
The Daily Mail published photos on March 12 showing Jayden driving his mother’s Mercedes-Benz convertible around her Thousand Oaks neighborhood. It has only fueled speculation that he has remained close to her while she regroups.
After the news broke, a representative for Spears stated that Jayden and her older son, Sean Preston, would be “spending time” with her. Now, Jayden has seemingly assumed the lead in person.
Additionally, the source told Star, “It’s clear he cares about her deeply and feels like he owes it to her [to] try and help.” She added, “He wants his mom at her best and everyone can see how much it helps her to have him there.”
Furthermore, the source pointed to trust as the biggest factor in the “Toxic” singer‘s life right now. They explained, “Britney trusts him completely.” The source added, “One day, everything she has will go to him and his brother Sean, so she feels like there’s no reason he shouldn’t start being involved now.”
