Congrats are (maybe) due for Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis, who are reportedly engaged. But, while now should be a time for celebration, the pair are said to be facing a conundrum about their wedding plans.
A source claims Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis could “elope”
“The biggest conundrum for her is whether they should have a big wedding or just elope,” a source told RadarOnline. “They’ve both had big weddings before, so in a lot of ways it makes more sense to elope.”
Previously, Jennifer was married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005. She was later married to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018. Meanwhile, Jim was married to Rachel Napolitano, and the pair are understood to have a teenage son together.
With three marriages between them, Jennifer and Jim are keen to have a low-key wedding. But RadarOnline’s insider revealed this is causing issues for them.
“Their friends have been such a big part of their love story,” the source said, noting how a “mutual friend” introduced the couple a few years ago. To that end, “some supersized egos will be bruised” if they decide to have a more intimate wedding.
“Once Jen starts to invite some friends, there’s big pressure to add more and more,” the insider went on, pointing to the Friends star’s large celebrity social circle. “It’s very stressful because she has so many dear, dear girlfriends that she loves like family.”
At his 2003 wedding to Rachel, Jim hosted a 200-person reception. Similarly, around 200 guests were in attendance when Jennifer and Brad tied the knot. Celebrities including Cameron Diaz, Salma Hayek, and her Friends co-stars were all on the guest list for the star-studded event.
For her wedding to Justin, things were a little more intimate, with Jen inviting 70 guests.
