Jeffrey Epstein’s lawyer comments on Trump’s relationship, claims report
The late financier’s longtime lawyer and co-executive of his estate, Darren Indyke, has recently claimed that he had no clue of his and POTUS’ relationship.
According to Fox News, James Comer, the Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, stated that Indyke revealed the information to the committee when Democrats questioned him. He shared, “Republicans asked very substantive questions that any curious media outlet would ask, that any American who’s kept up with this story would ask. Then the Democrats get their hour, and they ask about Donald Trump.”
Comer added, “Mr. Indyke said that he was not aware of any relationship that Mr. Epstein had with Mr. Trump. ” He also conveyed that Epstein’s lawyer claimed that he was also unaware of the crimes being committed by his client.
Comer said, “As with all the other witnesses, they all claim they never had any knowledge before it became public that Mr. Epstein was … doing anything inappropriately with young women.”
Furthermore, James Comer claimed that the Democrats have a “cover-up.” He added, “And they’ve created a false narrative that Donald Trump has some type of liability in this. Both narratives are getting exploded by every witness we bring in.”
Since the release of the Epstein files, many have alleged that Trump and Jeffrey Epstein have shared a close bond. However, the businessman-turned-politician has denied the same.
According to ABC News, in July 2025, Donald Trump also spoke to reporters regarding his fallout with Epstein. He asserted, “People were taken out of the [Mar-a-Lago] spa, hired by him, in other words, gone. When I heard about it, I told him, I said, ‘Listen, we don’t want you taking our people.’ And then, not too long after that, he did it again. And I said, ‘Out of here.'”
