Leonid Radvinsky, the owner of OnlyFans, has passed away. In a statement from the adult content platform, a spokesperson revealed he had been fighting an undisclosed form of cancer. Despite owning one of the most notorious websites on the internet, the businessman largely kept a low profile.
Leonid “Leo” Radvinsky has died after a battle with cancer

An OnlyFans spokesperson said: “We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky. Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. His family have requested privacy at this difficult time.”
Leonid, who was born in Ukraine, bought the company behind OnlyFans in 2018. It had been created by British businessman Tim Stokely two years prior. The platform’s popularity exploded during the COVID pandemic, and it doesn’t look like it’ll be going anywhere any time soon.
The platform had over 377 million subscribers in 2024, generating revenue of $1.4 billion according to its latest filing with Companies House. It currently has around 4.6 million creators – including some very famous faces.
Leonid had a net worth of $4.7 billion at the time of his death, according to Forbes. Despite his huge wealth, he seemingly wasn’t one for the spotlight. He largely stayed out of the public eye, even being branded “reclusive” by some.
His personal website revealed he lived in Florida and was training to be a helicopter pilot. It also mentions contributions to charitable causes, including a $5 million donation to Ukraine relief efforts in 2022 and other donations to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the animal welfare organization West Suburban Humane Society.
According to Business Insider, he had the goal of joining the likes of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett in signing the The Giving Pledge, which encourages billionaires to donate the majority of their wealth to charitable causes.
