Margot Robbie Swaps Chanel Handbags in Chic Open-Jacket Look for Campaign

Margot Robbie fronted the Chanel 25 bag campaign in a bold open-jacket look. The brand’s official Instagram shared the video on March 23. Robbie worked with filmmaker Michel Gondry to recreate fellow Australian star Kylie Minogue’s 25-year-old music video for the hit song, “Come Into My World.” The clip showed clones of the “Wuthering Heights” star passing each other in the same fit, each carrying a different bag from the new collection.

For the new Chanel video, Margot Robbie once again collaborated with her longtime stylist, Andrew Mukamal. She wore a pair of light-wash, relaxed-fit jeans for that effortless Parisian vibe. Up top, she sported a simple, crisp white scoop-neck tank top. It was layered with a brown tweed jacket from Look 36 of Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Crafted from cotton and mixed fibers, the jacket featured fringed, braided, and embroidered details. It also had gold buttons.

Robbie completed her look with more pieces from the same collection. One of them was the Chanel metal, resin, and strass necklace in gold, silver, black, white, and crystal. It can be purchased for $4,550. The other was the two-tone lambskin shoes, currently selling at $1,325. Rendered in ivory, the heels featured black toecaps. All the pieces are from Matthieu Blazy’s first collection for the legendary fashion house.

Throughout the video, clones of the “Barbie” star could be seen carrying the Chanel 25 Mini bags in pink, dark orange, dark brown, and dark burgundy. Other bags she was carrying from the same collection were the Small bags in brown, white, and black-and-white, as well as the Medium bag in black.

The video marked a full-circle moment for most involved. Robbie’s very first concert experience had been a Kylie Minogue show (via Vogue). Meanwhile, director Gondry had long been eager to collaborate with Minogue again, following his work on her 2001 “Come Into My World” music video. Finally, Minogue had once said that Robbie would be the best actress to play her in a movie.
