Following his win on Dancing with the Stars Season 34, Robert Irwin is back Down Under. But in addition to the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, Robert brought something else back from America.
Or maybe we should say “someone” else. Robert brought home a wildlife conservation photographer, who some think could be his perfect match. Though he just claimed to be single in January 2026, perhaps Robert’s dating status has changed since then.
Ashleigh Scully, who’s been friends with Robert for years, was spotted hopping out of his car in Australia.

Robert and Ashleigh were seen laughing and chatting on the set of DWTS: The Next Pro. The show is being filmed on Australia’s Gold Coast, not far from where Robert and Bindi Irwin were born. The new show follows contestants hoping for a spot as a professional dancer on the US version of DWTS.
Though there was no evidence of any PDA, the pair reportedly looked relaxed and comfortable together. But they’ve been friends for years, having first met in 2019. But friendship has been known to develop into something deeper.
During DWTS’s 20th birthday celebration, Robert danced with Mirrorball champion Xochitl Gomez. At the time, their chemistry together sparked dating rumors. However, both Robert and Xochitl later confirmed that they are single.
As previously noted, Ashleigh is a wildlife photographer, a profession that could fit hand-in-hand with Robert’s conservationism. I peeked at her Instagram page, and it’s chock full of amazing photos of wild animals, including Arctic sea creatures. She’s very talented.
Recently, Ashleigh accompanied Robert and his DWTS co-star Dylan Efron on a diving expedition. The group posed together in scuba gear.
In addition to being a photographer and a certified diver, Ashleigh is also an accomplished equestrian. When she competed at Texas Christian University, she earned All-American honors. She also has a master’s degree in literature.
While so far there’s been no confirmation of any romantic relationship, fans have their fingers crossed. Reportedly, social media users feel they’d be “perfect” for each other.
