Dancing With the Stars Season 35 preparations are underway in Los Angeles, with rehearsal photos showing professional dancers arriving to practice before ABC reveals the full cast. Some celebrities appearing at rehearsals had their identities hidden from view.
ABC will announce the complete Season 35 lineup on Good Morning America on September 2.
Dancing with the Stars rehearsals began in secret in Los Angeles
The show has already confirmed four celebrities for the new season: Maura Higgins, Ciara Miller, Jackson Olson and Guillermo Rodriguez.
Olson was among those seen heading to rehearsals in Los Angeles. Rodriguez will compete alongside professional dancer Witney Carson, according to Just Jared. Carson recently confirmed that she is pregnant.
ABC and Disney+ will air the Season 35 premiere across two nights. The competition will begin Tuesday, September 15, and continue Wednesday, September 16, with both broadcasts starting at 8 p.m. Episodes will stream on Hulu the following day.
The network has not yet announced the remaining celebrities or professional dancers taking part in the season. Reports have named other possible contestants, but ABC has not confirmed them.
Carson returned to the ballroom after winning Season 34 with Robert Irwin. The pair claimed the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy during the November 25, 2025 finale, with Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy finishing second. Carson will now compete in Season 35 with Rodriguez.
