Amy Bradley Documentary Director Reveals Investigation’s New Findings and a Reported Sighting

The filmmaker behind a Netflix series regarding the disappearance of Amy Bradley has shared recent updates regarding the case. Additionally, a new reported sighting of Amy was also brought up, which never made it to the documentary.

Amy went missing in March 1998, while on a family cruise aboard the Rhapsody of the Seas, nearing Curaçao. Although several sightings of Amy were reported by tourists and passengers, her whereabouts are still unknown, 28 years later. Those close to Amy believe she may still be alive, despite being declared dead in absentia in 2010.

Somebody believes they saw Amy Bradley in a Caribbean casino

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, filmmaker Ari Mark said he had no plans for an epilogue episode for his Netflix series. The documentary, titled Amy Bradley is Missing, was released last Summer on the streamer, receiving widespread attention for its renewal of the highly publicized cold case.

“I think the moment that I feel like we’re at this tipping point where, if we could just push out a little bit more information we really could get this thing solved,” Ari told the oulet. “I will 100 percent approach [Netflix] about that.”

Later, the director discussed new findings in the investigation. However, he noted that the information was still being “vetted” by authorities before he could include it in his series. Ari revealed that two people of interest who have trafficking ties” were questioned by the FBI. Although he could not provide details on this “pretty new” development, he described the information as “a big deal” regarding the investigation.

Moreover, between himself, a private investigator hired by Amy’s family, and the FBI, there a potential new avenue. The filmmaker said the three “may have identified that the trafficking ring … exists, and who potentially would be responsible.” Although he declined to give much more detail, he alleges a “dominant” trafficking group in the Caribbean may be responsible.

Additionally, it was revealed that “an IP hit” from a public computer inside a Caribbean casino was red-flagged by investigators back in 2023. The casino’s general manager confirmed that “he recognized Amy,” who potentially used the computer. However, he “clammed up” when investigators asked to record this new account.
