Prince William and Queen Camilla are reportedly not on the same page right now. Insiders say the tension has nothing to do with old royal history, but it is serious enough to cause friction behind palace doors.
There’s already plenty happening around the royal family. The fallout with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has not fully settled, and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s controversies continue to draw attention. Against that backdrop, a new disagreement has started to take shape.
According to the insiders, it all comes back to King Charles and how much he should be doing while dealing with his health

According to RadarOnline, Charles’ packed schedule is what has William concerned.
Charles hasn’t stepped back the way William thinks he should during cancer treatment. The King attended a state banquet for the Nigerian president and visited Cornwall. He’s still also expected to visit the United States.
An insider revealed, “William has been urging his father to ease off and genuinely take a step back to focus on his health, but each time he brings it up, it seems to trigger tension because Camilla is seen as encouraging Charles to keep pushing forward with his public duties. It’s becoming a recurring point of conflict between them.”
From William’s perspective, his father should be resting more. Camilla, however, is said to see those appearances as necessary.
The disagreement became harder to ignore during the Nigerian state banquet. “The state banquet in particular really brought those differences to the surface. William was firmly of the view that Charles simply wasn’t well enough to attend and should have prioritized rest, but Camilla was adamant that their presence was necessary, especially given the scrutiny the family is under.”
Afterward, it didn’t reassure anyone. “Afterwards, a lot of the discussion centered on how fatigued and unwell Charles appeared, which only reinforced William’s fears that his father is doing too much.”
At this point, insiders say it goes beyond a scheduling disagreement. One aide claimed William feels “almost at war” with Camilla and “can’t forgive her” for what he sees as pushing Charles too far.
