Alan Ritchson’s Fight With Neighbor Becomes a Movie Trailer Thanks To AI

An LA-based creator transformed Alan Ritchson’s recent fight with his neighbor in Tennessee into an AI-generated movie trailer, but with a small, hilarious twist. He shared the video on various social media platforms last week, which has since gone viral.

Alan Ritchson’s fight with neighbor gets movie trailer treatment with AI

Taylor Chien, a filmmaker and producer, shared an AI-generated video that showcases actor Alan Ritchson’s fight with his Tennessee neighbor. Chien posted a 40-second AI-generated video on Instagram and captioned it, “Someone had to make this…”

The video starts with the Reacher star riding his bike with two of his kids riding their own small bikes behind him. Meanwhile, the background voice says, “In the quiet neighborhood, one man saw a motorcycle and still chose chaos.” The scene then showcases Ronnie Taylor, the neighbor with whom the actor had a physical altercation. Looking at Ritchson’s family, Taylor says, “Look at the f****** motorcycle pricks,” and approaches them to block their path.

“One terrible decision,” the voiceover adds. The scene then shifts to the actor’s POV, showing the neighbor standing in front of the bike’s path, leading to an accident. It is followed by a short real-life clip from the War Machine actor’s camera, which surfaced online after the incident went viral. A few more AI-generated clips play, showing the man confronting and provoking Ritchson for riding like a “lunatic.”

The video then cuts to a close-up of the actor. He removes his helmet and says, “Gladly,” like his character Jack Reacher. The actor throws a punch towards the camera, which cuts to the title card, reading, “WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD.” Meanwhile, the voiceover says, “This summer, don’t be a little b****”

In a hilarious twist, the video ends with John Cena looking through the window with a phone in his hand. The scene appears to be insinuating that he was the man who leaked the first footage of the altercation online, where the Playdate actor was hitting Taylor. “I never did like that neighbor,” Cena says, seemingly happy. In reality, Cena was not the one who filmed the altercation.

Needless to say, this video appears to be created for humor. While some of it is recreated based on reported videos, it does take some liberty for dramatization. Reportedly, the actor is not facing any charges since he acted in self-defense.
