It sounds like Ciara Miller wasn’t totally blindsided by West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s big relationship confession. Although the Summer House star was photographed slumped over in front of an Hermès store right after the news broke, sources close to the situation say she had a heads up that the hard launch was coming. She had time to brace herself—but only a little bit.
The shocking Summer House romance was confirmed
After weeks of rumors and speculation, Amanda and West confirmed on Tuesday, March 31, that they are romantically involved. The pair dropped a joint statement on their respective Instagram Stories, sending Summer House fans into an absolute frenzy.
They wrote, “We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposely hide anything.”
“Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it,” they continued.
When that news dropped, paparazzi caught Ciara having a very public reaction. However, TMZ confirmed through sources close to the Summer House crew that she was told in advance that West and Amanda were preparing a statement. Supposedly, Ciara knew at least a day before the news dropped.
Still, even a 24-hour heads-up wouldn’t soften the blow of seeing your best friend cozying up with your former fling. The fact that West has been extra flirty with Ciara throughout Season 10 just adds insult to injury.
Of course, Bravo fans are largely siding with Ciara in the aftermath of all this. The word on the street is that most of the Summer House cast is also Team Ciara. So, she can get off the sidewalk and keep strutting with her head held high. Everyone is in her corner, and West is officially somebody else’s problem.
