The backlash has officially arrived. Amanda Batula and West Wilson from Summer House confirmed their controversial relationship yesterday, and it’s already having real-life consequences.
Amanda had partnered with the fashion/weed brand Edie Parker. Within hours of her and West going public with their romance, the brand scrapped their collaboration, and fans are thrilled by the last-minute decision. They’ve also got some ideas on who Edie Parker should partner with next.
Summer House fans want Ciara Miller to pick the job up
Before Amanda and West shocked the Bravoverse by confirming that those hookup rumors were indeed true, the Summer House star posed for a racy photoshoot with Edie Parker. The pictures showed Amanda smoking a joint in a pair of tighty whities with her underboob on full display.
In the shoot, she wore a T-shirt that said “These are your boobs on drugs,” with 15% of the proceeds benefiting the Last Prisoner’s Project, a charitable organization dedicated to cannabis criminal justice reform.
Unfortunately for Amanda, the entire photoshoot was scrapped after she went public with West, and Edie Parker quickly removed any traces of her from their social media. Instead, they’ve replaced her with a faceless model rocking the same shirt.
“A lot can change in a day [emojis] Same shirt. Same great charity. New model,” the brand wrote on their updated post.
Whoever made that decision at Edie Parker deserves a raise, because Summer House fans flooded the comments with support for their swift decision-making. They took a questionable moment for their brand and turned it into a viral marketing moment.
“The devil works fast but Edie Parker works faster,” one fan applauded.
Some fans in the comments were even pushing Edie Parker to replace Amanda with Ciara Miller. Of course, she previously dated West and was seemingly just backstabbed by Amanda. Summer House fans just want to see her win.
“Ciara is literally a model,” one fan reminded Edie Parker.
Another added, “Put Ciara on the campaign!!!!”
