Ben Affleck Reunites With Ex-Wife on Easter Weekend

Ben Affleck and his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, recently shared a family moment as they reunited on Easter weekend, casually hanging out together with their youngest child, Samuel, in Los Angeles. The former couple originally met on the set of Pearl Harbor in 2000 and got married in 2005. They share three children.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s co-parenting game appears to be going strong as the two actors were spotted hanging out with their son, Samuel, in L.A. In the photos shared by the Daily Mail, Garner wore a gray casual T-shirt, dark blue jeans, and a long black shrug, paired with dark shoes and black aviator glasses.

Meanwhile, Affleck wore a white shirt with beige pants and matching shoes, and Samuel wore a black t-shirt and gray tracks with white socks and flip-flops. In the photo, Garner kept a hand on Samuel’s shoulder, with Affleck casually walking beside them.

Previously, while promoting The Last Thing He Told Me Season 2, Garner opened up about her difficult separation from Affleck. In a recent conversation with Marie Claire UK, she reflected on her separation from her ex, noting that one needs to be aware of their capabilities of handling things. She revealed that she couldn’t “handle” what was “out there.” For her, it was not the breaking of the marriage that was hard, but the family.

“The fact of it is what was hard. The actual breaking up of a family is what was hard. Losing a true partnership and friendship is what was hard,” she explained. Following her breakup, she revealed that she found solace in the people she loves. “That’s where your resilience is: it’s in your relationships and in the people who carry you through,” she further added.

In June 2015, Garner and Affleck announced that they were parting ways after being married for 10 years. They officially decided to file for divorce and requested joint custody for their three kids in 2017. In the following year, their divorce was finalized.
