Jordan filed for divorce on March 19, one year after they separated. In addition, he filed a restraining order against his estranged wife the following day. The pair share two children: Jagger, 5, and Jovi, 3. Jordan also has a daughter from a previous relationship, Peyton.
In March, Jordan told People, “This has not been an easy decision … While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported and protected through this transition. I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect.”
In her own People interview prior to the divorce announcement, Jessi admitted that she and Jordan were “going to a lot of therapy” for their marital issues. At the time, she said, “It’s helped a lot,” but their relationship remained “a work in progress.”
Aside from having to share her children with her ex, Jessi said in an Instagram post on April 2, “Highly recommend getting divorced btw.”
Jessi was reportedly spotted kissing castmate Miranda McWhorter’s ex-husband Chase McWhorter at a party on March 26. However, Jessi was quick to make amends with her friend. She sent flowers and an apology card, which Miranda posted on her Instagram Stories.
“I completely understand you being upset with me,” Jessi wrote in the card. “But wanted to send you a little something to let you know I’m thinking about you and I am so so sorry. – Jessi.”
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
