Florence + The Machine Partner With Planned Parenthood on North America Tour

Big news for Florence + The Machine fans! Florence Welch just confirmed the band has partnered with Planned Parenthood for its upcoming North America tour. As for what that means? Planned Parenthood will be at multiple stops on the Everybody Scream Tour, allowing concertgoers to learn about life-saving reproductive care.

Florence Welch is fighting for abortion rights

“Planned Parenthood health centers are a lifeline for millions of people, and they are relentlessly attacked,” Florence said in a statement announcing the partnership. “Having access to a trusted provider is essential and also the difference between life and death.”

Next, the musician pointed out the anti-choice policies of Donald Trump’s administration. “In this moment of uncertainty for our rights, I’m proud to support Planned Parenthood and create space on my tour for them to connect people with the care and information they need.”

Florence + The Machine’s Everybody Scream Tour kicked off in February, but has been on a month-long break. The tour returns tonight (April 8) at the Target Center in Minneapolis, which coincides with the Planned Parenthood partnership.

Championing the collab, Caren Spruch, who is the national director of arts and entertainment for Planned Parenthood, said it “is a powerful testament to the importance of ensuring everyone can make decisions about their own bodies.”

This is not the first time that big name celebrities have teamed up with Planned Parenthood, however. Last year, the organization presented its Catalyst of Change award to Olivia Rodrigo in honor of the money she raised for abortion funds on her Guts World Tour.

Also in 2025, Harry Styles, Megan Thee Stallion, Stevie Nicks and numerous other artists signed a letter of support for Planned Parenthood in response to Trump enacting several policies restricting access to reproductive healthcare.
