Barron Trump enters beverage business with new product launch
Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump, has entered the world of beverages with his brand, “Sollos,” which he has reportedly started with four business partners.
Sollos Yerba Mate announced their first product, a pineapple and coconut ready‑to‑drink yerba mate, which is a caffeinated herbal tea, on LinkedIn, with a video that also gave a glimpse in the making of the drink. It will reportedly launch in 12-packs in May 2026.
The brand name “Sollos” comes from the Spanish word “Sol,” which means sun, and the same word spelt backwards, “Los,” which indicates sundown. In essence, the Spanish words try to represent sunrise to sunset. “Together, SOLLOS captures the full cycle of the sun, and that ‘It Begins Where It Ends,” another separate LinkedIn post said.
“In the foreseeable future, Sollos will only have one recipe,” the Sollos Yerba Mate team told The Independent, “We didn’t set out to make a flavor lineup; we set out to make the perfect drink. Most brands launch with five flavors, hoping you’ll like one of them. We spent all of our time, energy, and resources obsessing over a single recipe until it was flawless.”
Business registration shows that Sollos Yerba Mate raised $1 million in capital through private placement. Barron Trump, a sophomore at New York University, is listed as one of the directors alongside Spencer Bernstein, Rodolfo Castello, Stephen Hall, and Valentino Gomez.
This further marks Trump’s first venture into the consumer industry.
