Blackpink’s Jennie channelled Zendaya in a heat-sensitive Ferragamo suit for a new Ray-Ban photoshoot. The luxury eyewear brand has appointed the songstress as its new global ambassador. For the accompanying shoot, her ensemble was both futuristic and fiercely confident. The “Euphoria” star had worn the same suit straight off the runway back in 2023.
Blackpink’s Jennie poses in daring Ferragamo heat-sensitive suit first worn by Zendaya
Jennie wore a deep crimson, heat-sensitive suit with a glossy, almost liquid-like finish that clung and contoured with precision. The outfit was from Ferragamo’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection, which was creative director Maximilian Davis’s first for the house. It featured a long-sleeved button-down and matching trousers. The tailored fit, complete with a plunging neckline and subtle ruching at the waist, balanced structure with fluidity. Its high-shine material caught the light, giving the outfit a dynamic, ever-shifting quality.
Jennie wore her long black hair in curls that fell dramatically past her waist. The hairstyle not only contrasted with the bold tone of the outfit but also added movement to her look. Wearing this suit, the “Seoul City” singer modelled two pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses: the RB3774D and the Alix Bio-Based. Both glasses featured polished metallic frames and grey lenses. Meanwhile, her makeup appeared minimal, with a glossy lip.
In October 2023, Zendaya wore the same Ferragamo suit with the shirt tied at the front. She paired it with burgundy Christian Louboutin heels and layered gold necklaces. Further, she also wore her hair loose in blown-out curls. Her longtime stylist, Law Roach, shared photos of her on Instagram at the time.
Jennie addressed her new position as Ray-Ban’s global ambassador in a new statement (via The Hollywood Reporter). She said, “I’m really happy to be partnering with Ray-Ban. It felt natural from the beginning. To me, confidence isn’t loud; it comes from feeling comfortable with yourself and expressing who you are in a quiet way.”
