Donald Trump shared an AI-generated image of himself as Jesus Christ amid his criticism of Pope Leo XIV. As recent negotiation talks between Iran and the U.S. started, the Pope shared his stance on the war situation during an evening prayer service. His message appeared directed at political leaders and officials who display power and commit crimes in the name of religion.
Donald Trump posts a photo of himself as Jesus
Donald Trump took to Truth Social to post an AI-generated picture of himself as Jesus Christ. In the photo, he seems to be blessing a patient on a hospital bed. He’s also surrounded by a nurse, a praying woman, and two military officials. This post comes after he criticized Pope Leo over his comments about war.
The Pope said, “Enough of the idolatry of self and money! Enough of the display of power! Enough of war! True strength is shown in serving life. With evangelical simplicity, Saint John XXIII once wrote, ‘The benefits of peace will be felt everywhere, by individuals, by families, by nations, by the whole human race. ‘Nothing is lost by peace; everything may be lost by war.'”
In his Truth Social post, Trump called the Pope “WEAK on crime and terrible for Foreign Policy.” He argued that he spoke about the fear of his administration, but forgot about the times of COVID. Trump slammed the Catholic Church and other Christian organizations for arresting people for holding church services, even with fewer people. Moreover, he then revealed that he likes his brother Louis more than him, as he’s a MAGA supporter.
Trump further wrote, “I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s terrible that America attacked Venezuela, a Country that was sending massive amounts of Drugs into the United States and, even worse, emptying their prisons, including murderers, drug dealers, and killers, into our Country. And I don’t want a Pope who criticizes the President of the United States because I’m doing exactly what I was elected, IN A LANDSLIDE, to do, setting Record Low Numbers in Crime, and creating the Greatest Stock Market in History.”
He also touched upon topics such as how Pope Leo XIV became Pope because of his nationality. He then criticized his alleged connection with what he described as “Barack Obama sympathizers.” “Leo should get his act together as Pope, use Common Sense, stop catering to the Radical Left, and focus on being a Great Pope, not a Politician. It’s hurting him very badly and, more importantly, it’s hurting the Catholic Church!” he concluded.
