Archie Beador is a fan-favorite star on The Real Housewives of Orange County. This Golden Retriever has stood by Shannon Beador’s side for years, seeing her through many seasons of her life. So, when Archie recently experienced a seizure, Shannon did everything she could to repay his years of loyal service. And as a result, Shannon thankfully has a pawsitively positive update to share regarding Archie’s current health.
The Real Housewives of Orange County star said Archie is “doing well”
Archie has faced several health issues in recent years. In some of his earliest scenes in 2017, he suffered an upset stomach after consuming sawgrass in Shannon’s courtyard. Then, in 2021, Archie was acting lethargic and having trouble walking. But thankfully, as Shannon shared in Season 15, her best boy eventually “turned a corner” and was finally acting like himself again.
Following these incidents, in April 2022, Shannon revealed that Archie’s immune system was “shot.” As a result, he had continuous, unresolved skin issues, which Shannon got him help for.
And most recently, as Shannon shared on her Instagram Stories, “Archie had a seizure.” Understandably, “that was quite scary,” Shannon admitted. After a trip to the vet, Shannon and Archie came home, where Shannon kept watch on her most loyal friend. She then asked her followers to “Please keep Archie in [their] thoughts.”
Roughly nine hours later, Shannon took to her Stories again, sharing, “Archie is doing well!” YAY! As Shannon confessed, she felt “overwhelmed” by all of her followers’ “kind messages” during this ordeal. So, she ended, “Archie and Troy (and me) say thank you!!!”
