Before they welcomed their daughter, Kaia Lily Broderick, into the world, The Valley stars Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick heavily contemplated moving. So, where do they stand on this decision today? Well, here’s their latest thoughts.
Are the Bravo stars leaving Los Angeles?
Last month, Kristen and Luke sat for a chat with The Daily Dish. As they revealed, they are still trying to nail down where their forever home might be. As for their current options, Colorado remains on the table, since Luke owns a home there, alongside several additional acres of land.
That said, Indiana could also be a solid contender. After all, Kristen and Luke already own a property here. Making this option even more attractive, their house is located in the same neighborhood as Luke’s father. Free babysitting is a massive perk, which we all know that Luke feels more than ready to cash in on.
Nevertheless, “We’re renting in the Valley right now,” Kristen explained. “So we do not have plans to buy in LA, but instead to save to buy wherever it is that we are gonna put our roots next.” So, for now, Kristen revealed, they plan to rent in LA and then go from there.
Luke agreed. “I do not want to move again within the city,” he stressed. Instead, “I want to stay in this house until we are ready to buy a place that will be our home for the next 20 years. So I hope we don’t have to move again because we moved a lot initially in our relationship.”
Regarding Colorado, Kristen said, they have doubled their house’s footprint there. “So we’re excited for that house to be finished and to be able to spend more time out there.” But will Colorado be where they eventually settle? Only time will tell.
