Donald Trump approval rating continues to fall
Donald Trump’s approval ratings have fallen further. The results state that the ratings took a massive hit amid the ongoing war between the United States and Iran. Moreover, the AI image that depicted Trump as Jesus has also fueled the degradation of the ratings.
A recent poll conducted by the New York Times found that Trump’s ratings have fallen, with just 40 percent of respondents satisfied with his performance. On the other hand, approximately 57 percent of poll respondents aren’t happy with Trump’s handling of the country’s ongoing issues. The outlet asserts that the most recent poll numbers were released after the recent back-and-forth between Pope Leo and the US President.
A second poll by the Silver Bulletin, 56.8 percent of respondents are criticizing Trump’s job performance during the war with Iran. Moreover, they are also critical of Trump’s feud with Pope Leo. The results also state that just 39.6 percent of respondents are happy with his performance.
According to the RealClearPolitics average, rising oil prices due to the Iran war have led 56.8 percent of respondents to disapprove of Trump. Meanwhile, only 41.3 percent of users approve of his performance.
The criticism of Trump increased after he called out Pope Leo. Trump slammed the Pope after the latter criticized his military operation against Iran. He wrote on Truth Social, “Will someone please tell Pope Leo that Iran has killed at least 42,000 innocent, completely unarmed, protesters in the last two months, and that for Iran to have a Nuclear Bomb is absolutely unacceptable. Thank you for your attention to this matter. AMERICA IS BACK!!!”
