Donald Trump has once again targeted former MAGA allies. This time, he criticized Joe Kent and Tucker Carlson in a fiery social media post. The US President penned a lengthy rant against the former officials, calling them “losers.”
Donald Trump slams Joe Kent and Tucker Carlson in new post
Donald Trump took aim at Tucker Carlson, Joe Kent, and several other former MAGA supporters on Thursday. He did so via a Truth Social post.
“Who’s dumber, Tucker Carlson or Joe Kent?” Trump began the post before going on to detail his first meeting with the former Director of the United States National Counterterrorism Center.
Trump then claimed that he gave the position to Kent out of sympathy after he lost two elections, following his wife, Shannon M. Smith’s, tragic death in an ISIS bombing in Syria. “While I didn’t know him other than our brief Dover encounter, but feeling sorry for him after the two Election losses, I told my people, ‘Hire him for the White House. Give him a job, make him feel good, he lost his wife and two Elections. They did so and, while I rarely saw him, I certainly didn’t expect disloyalty, but that’s what I got.” Trump penned.
Trump then launched a scathing attack on Kent. He wrote, “He was really a SLEAZEBAG, and some would say, on top of it all, A LEAKER! I don’t know whether or not that was true, but next time, NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!”
Trump also targeted Tucker and other former allies. He wrote, “Kent is a LOSER, just like Tucker [Carlson], Candace [Owens], Megyn [Kelly] and the rest of them are LOSERS — You’re born that way, LOW IQ, and there’s not a damn thing they’re going to be able to do about it!”
Meanwhile, Kent continues to voice his stance against the Iran war. In an X post on Wednesday, he wrote, “President Trump is sending more military power to the Middle East as Iran rejects our initial peace offers—setting the escalation trap.” Kent added, “We must learn from our past and recognize when it is time to cut our losses and walk away. In the end, working to restore order will strengthen America far more than any military action ever could.”
