Christine Quinn’s Ex Seeking Control Over Home in Los Angeles — Report

Fresh off her runner-up finish on House of Villains, Christine Quinn is in a fight to control a different house.

Her estranged husband, Christian Richard (aka Christian Dumontet), is asking a court to grant him sole ownership of the home that he once shared with the Selling Sunset star.

According to the court docs, he’s not trying to get the house because he wants to live in it with his new girlfriend and their 1-year old. He’s trying to take ownership so he can sell it and pay off some debt.

Christine and Christian split back in 2024 after a domestic violence incident at their home. Christine received an order of protection against him, he broke it, and he wound up back in police custody a second time. They’ve been tangled in a messy divorce ever since.

In new court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Christian asked a judge to allow him to sell their house as the sole owner to “stop the ongoing financial loss associated with maintaining a non-income-producing asset.”

Christian described the situation with this house as a “financial hemorrhaging,” telling the courts that he still owes $3.5 million on his mortgage and claiming it costs $400,000 a year to maintain. No one lives in the home, so it’s kind of just sitting there sucking up cash.

He bought the Los Angeles property before he married Christine, so he hopes the courts will grant him sole ownership of the house so he can sell it and use the profits. Otherwise, he says that it will continue to cause him “irreparable financial harm.”

“[Christine] has never made any financial contribution to the [home], whether toward the purchase price, mortgage payments, carrying costs, maintenance, or otherwise,” he alleged in his filing.

Christian requested an emergency order on the issue, but it was denied. In the meantime, the house has supposedly already hit the market for $7.5 million.

Selling Sunset is streaming on Netflix. You can also catch Christine on Peacock’s House of Villains.
