The View Hosts Mock Caitlyn Jenner’s Donald Trump Plea

Caitlyn Jenner isn’t getting any sympathy from those at The View. The renowned talk show discussed the former Olympic gold medallist’s recent request made to Donald Trump. Caitlyn, who is transgender, discussed last week how complicated travelling has become for people like her who are transgender.

Caitlyn previously said that her gender passport is marked M for male. Now Caitlyn says that she can’t travel internationally. She penned a letter to the POTUS to try to resolve this issue.

Ana Navarro called out those “who only care about themselves”

Ana Navarro appears to be completely unmoved by Caitlyn’s emotional plea. On Monday’s program, she said, “There’s a special place in hell” for the likes of Caitlyn. She adds that, in her eyes, people like Caitlyn “only care about themselves and don’t care about the effect on others.” Caitlyn is a prominent supporter of the President.

In the past, Caitlyn has said that she’s worried about safety issues her passport may cause. Despite the POTUS not yet responding to her plea, Caitlyn said she doesn’t blame him. The President’s emergency ruling last year restricts passport sex markers to male or female. That means it would correspond to a person’s sex at birth.

On Monday’s show, Ana shared her belief that those who are not famous, do not have White House access, or money, are in much worse shape than Caitlyn. All the show’s panellists were baffled that Caitlyn was caught off guard by the Trump administration’s passport policy.

Whoopi Goldberg wondered if Caitlyn believed she might be exempt given her celebrity status. For Whoopi, Caitlyn’s predicament should serve as a hard lesson for her. She says that’s something Caitlyn should have considered before casting her vote for the real estate mogul.
