It’s been months since Brooklyn Beckham literally blew up the internet – and the Beckham brand – when he posted a string of allegations about his family on social media. But time has done little to heal the wound for his mom, Victoria Beckham. She is said to still be “in pieces” over it all.
Victoria and David Beckham’s “atmosphere” is “at a real low”
To recap, Brooklyn took to Instagram in January and posted accusation after accusation about his family, whom he branded “performative” and “inauthentic.”
David and Victoria took the brunt of Brooklyn’s claims, and he alleged they had tried to “ruin” his relationship with his wife. Perhaps most damaging was Brooklyn’s accusation that his mom had danced inappropriately with him at his 2022 wedding.
In the months that have followed, Victoria and David have tried hard to repair their brand. Recently, she spoke about the difficulties of parenting in the public eye. “We love our kids so much,” she told the Wall Street Journal. “We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be.”
But, despite putting on a brave face, Victoria is apparently struggling. “Victoria is absolutely in pieces,” a source told Closer. “She’s spent 30 years meticulously crafting the Brand Beckham image of the perfect, unbreakable family, and now she feels like her own children are the ones tearing it down.”
It’s not all down to Brooklyn, though. The insider’s comments also point to a recent slip-up made by Cruz Beckham. He revealed on Instagram that the former Spice Girl has had all of her tattoos removed – including the ones dedicated to her family.
“Cruz’s loose lips have sent her into a total spiral,” the source said. “He has just handed the public the smoking gun they needed to suggest it’s all a front.”
“The atmosphere between David and Vic is at a real low,” they went on.
