An insider told the outlet, “She will not take no for an answer. This is her story – and she’s going to tell it her way.” The report claims that Madonna remains hands-on and confident about controlling the narrative. As another source said, “Madonna doesn’t do small. Ever.”
The revival may also solve the problem of scale. The insider claimed, “Madonna realized the story is too big for two hours. She wants the full ride – the struggle, the ambition, the chaos.” This ultimately opens the door to a limited series rather than a single feature film, a format that would give her a huge career more space.
Meanwhile, Madonna and Garner have been hanging out in Venice. They wore matching outfits and rode in a gondola while lip-syncing to “Like a Virgin,” which cued Madonna’s original 1984 video, filmed in the same city.
