We’ve all been making the comparisons between Scandoval and this Summer House mess, so it was only a matter of time before a brand cashed in on it. Sonic was the one. They just dropped an ad featuring Ariana Madix and Ciara Miller, and all of a sudden, we’re over here craving a little something something from America’s Drive-In. Check out the clip below.
The Summer House star and Love Island USA host are helping launch new frozen refreshers
Ariana and Ciara teamed up for this piece of #sponcon, looking fabulous as ever, and they dance around the elephant in the room—the massive West Wilson and Amanda Batula scandal that has taken the Braoverse by storm.
“Anything new to talk about?” Ariana asks Ciara in the clip.
“No updates from me,” Ciara says. “Honestly, life has been pretty chill.”
Of course, we all know that’s not the case. The image of her slumped over on the ground after finding out that West and Amanda went public is permanently burned into our brains. But there’s no room for that drama in this commercial. Thanks to the magic of Sonic’s new frozen treat, she claims her focus has been elsewhere.
“I’ve been off social media,” Ciara said. “I’ve been honestly just drinking my new Frozen Sonic Refresher,”
Ariana tells Ciara she loves that energy, and honestly? Same.
The timing of this Ariana and Ciara commercial couldn’t have been more perfect. The day before it dropped, Ciara was announced as a contestant for Dancing with the Stars Season 35. Similarly, Ariana was cast on DWTS right after her Bravo breakup blew up the internet. Her career has been on fire ever since.
If history continues to repeat itself, we’re going to be seeing a whole lot more Ciara on our screens this year. Sometimes, betrayal pays off.
