One Piece fans blast Logan Paul over a name blunder amid a manga purchase. On Wednesday, April 22, Paul shared a detailed tweet revealing he is a “proud owner” of the “greatest mangas” in the world. He wrote, “One Piece Chapter One 9.0 (second highest grade in existence, pop 3). First canon appearance of Monkey D. Luffy. One Piece is the #1 selling manga in the world at 600M+ copies sold.”

He continued, “Dragon Ball Chapter One 9.2 (highest grade in existence, pop 1) purchased for a record $550,000. First appearance of Goku & Bulma. The manga journey has begun…”

For those unversed, Monkey D. Luffy is the main protagonist of the anime and manga series One Piece. Paul has written the name correctly in the tweet. However, X user Nakeem Here shared a brief clip of the podcaster saying, “It was great. Shoutout to Luffy D. Monkey.” A voice-over corrected him, “Monkey D. Luffy.”

Paul replied with a tone of surprise, “What! It’s Monkey D. Luffy?” X user Nakeem wrote in the caption, “Luffy D. Monkey. Get this larper outta here.” Fans chimed in the comments section and slammed Paul over his name blunder. One user declared, “Wbk he’s a fraud.”

A second fan commented, “Bro isn’t a One Piece or Dragon Ball fan. He just knows those series are insanely popular and have die-hard loyal fans..” A third fan chimed in, “Bet Logan can’t even name five One Piece characters, lol. He is such a larp.”

A fourth fan penned, “LARPER! We already know you are not doing this out of genuine love, but to make a profit and make our hobby impossible to enjoy, thanks to your greedy a**!”
