Travis Kelce has a condition for Chiefs rookies. This is certainly crucial, as this might be Kelce’s final year with the Chiefs before he hangs up his boots. The Chiefs’ tight end shared his thoughts on the much-awaited NFL Draft on the recent New Heights episode. He revealed that he wants the team to recruit players who are passionate about the game.

Kelce shared, “I’m just hoping for a guy that loves ball, man. I think one of the things that you just want to have when you get back into the building after a season like last year, man, you just want guys that love what they’re [expletive] doing. I think it’s one of the things that I look for in these young guys when they come in, is just how infectious is your energy? I need that out of these young guys.”

Furthermore, the Chiefs’ tight end, who shares a great bond with coach Andy Reid, believes Reid will pick the best for the team. Kelce stated, “Sometimes, it takes a little bit for a guy to get comfortable in his shoes and to really show his personality, but Coach [Andy] Reid says it best: We want you to show that personality. We want you to be yourself and bring the energy to the building.”

Interestingly, his brother Jason Kelce had different thoughts about the NFL Draft. Jason, a former center for the Philadelphia Eagles, recently visited Rowan University. When asked about the highly anticipated NFL Draft, he revealed he expected some unpredictable situations. Jason said, “It’s going to be chaotic. Things are going to happen that no one sees coming. We’re going to add some new teammates here in Philadelphia, which will be very exciting (via 6 ABC Action News).”
