FBI Director Spotted Scrolling Through His Phone After WHCD Shooting

Kash Patel is once again making waves on the internet after he was spotted looking at his phone during evacuation efforts after the recent WHCD shooting. A video capturing the moment has gone viral amid the FBI Director’s latest legal dispute.

A video capturing Kash Patel following the Saturday night shooting scare at the White House Congressional Dinner is making rounds on social media. The clip shows the FBI Director looking at his phone while Secret Service agents manage the crowd and guide guests during the evacuation.

The viral video was shared by media company MeidasTouch on their official X (former Twitter) page, along with the caption, “FBI Director Kash Patel seen on his phone, just hanging around outside the venue like a random WHCD attendee trying to figure out how to get an Uber after the incident.”

Shortly after the shooting incident occurred at the Washington Hilton, Patel addressed the ordeal in a press briefing at the White House. He took the moment to praise President Donald Trump, stating, “You, Mr. President, inspire them 24/7, 365.”

The FBI Director added, “You give them the resources that they need, and you know, they know that you have their back, and that is a changing dynamic in this country, and that’s why you saw a brave Secret Service agent respond immediately, swiftly, subdue and take down the suspect and safeguard the lives of thousands of individuals at that hotel.”

The update comes amid Patel’s ongoing legal battle with The Atlantic. The FBI Director filed a $250 million defamation lawsuit against the news outlet and reporter Sarah Fitzpatrick earlier this month, over an article alleging he has a drinking problem. The Atlantic responded, declaring, “We stand by our reporting on Kash Patel, and we will vigorously defend The Atlantic and our journalists against this meritless lawsuit.”
