The Real Housewives of Atlanta is just getting started, and the drama has already begun. Now, the girls are heading to Dallas for their first trip out of town together. This should be interesting! The ladies are bringing their own flavor of Dynasty to D-Town. Well, at least Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks are because they understood the assignment.
The RHOA cast are headed on their first trip of Season 17
We had a hint of the beef and bankruptcy in the last episode, and some of that spills over into the next one, as seen on the upcoming preview for RHOA. In the clip, the girls are getting ready to head to Dallas.
Cynthia Bailey asked them to dress as if they were from Dynasty, and Porsha and Phaedra delivered with the glam dresses and big hair. Hello, Dominique Deveraux! Meanwhile, Shamea Morton had no idea who or what that meant.
Kelli Ferrell commemorates the very first girl trip for K. Michelle and Pinky Cole. She’s excited, but K. Michelle is understandably nervous because she knows girls can be catty. But to help keep the bad juju away, Pinky provided a rather lengthy prayer before the plane took off.
As the girls were in the air, on their private plane, K. Michelle led the toast to “friendship, safe sex, and paychecks.” And it looks like everyone is still in a good mood.
But it isn’t long before the bankruptcy discussion begins again with Pinky, Kelli, Shamea, and Angela Oakley. You can see that filing for bankruptcy is weighing heavily on Pinky, and she needs to talk it out. The other ladies are understanding, but all this talk is just making Shamea nervous about her recent business venture.
Meanwhile, from bankruptcy to pre-nups and hubby drama. K. Michelle is sharing that her husband doesn’t have social media, so she doesn’t know how to catch him when he eventually cheats, as she believes all men will. Phaedra and Porsha have such a visceral reaction to this, it’s pretty funny.
When they finally land in Dallas, Cynthia literally rolls out the red carpet and says they’re going to have a nice dinner (famous last words?) as she shows them Dallas, “Cynthia Bailey style.”
