“Saturday Night Live”, aka SNL, is taking a dig at Klay Thompson after his split with Megan Thee Stallion. Comedian Kam Patterson made some hilarious statements about the basketball player. He shared how Megan deserves a “real man” in her life, subtly calling out Thompson for allegedly cheating on her.

Kam Patterson jokingly called out Klay Thompson following his breakup with Megan Thee Stallion on the “Weekend Update” segment on SNL. “Who even is this guy?” asked the comedian about the four-time NBA champion. Co-host Michael Che answered that Thompson was a “world-famous pro basketball player.” As such, Patterson said, “Wait a minute, there’s a WNBA for men? What would you even call that?”
He further added, “The MNBA? … To me, he’s not Klay, he’s dirt.” The 27-year-old also explained how the “Thot Shit” hitmaker needs “a real man.” Che quipped, “What else makes a real man?” This led to a hilarious round with Patterson hinting at himself. He mentioned how the “real man” is “probably employed in a thriving industry, ” like “entertainment,” and part of a “sketch television show.”
The comedian continued how the man is “not in many sketches,” referring to his debut in SNL Season 51. “But he’s doing OK. Some say he’s finding his voice more every week,” he shared. This led to cheers from the audience, with Che asking them not to egg Patterson on. “That’s just you, Kam,” he said with Patterson adding, “I guess that does kind of sound like me.” He also mentioned how he didn’t know who Megan’s ex, “a four-time NBA champion and second greatest shooter of all time,” was.
Later, Patterson expressed his wish to date Megan. “Megan, if you’re watching, let me talk to you direct,” he said. The comedian continued, “Am I the man you want? Probably not. But am I the man you need? Also no.” He further showed his alleged messages sent to the singer after saying, “But you’ve already had the best baby, so why not try the rest?”
