Princess Eugenie has confirmed that she is pregnant with her and Jack Brooksbank’s third child, and the announcement came along with a rare photo. Giving royal watchers a happy family update, the princess and her husband shared the news on May 4, with a photo of their two sons, August and Ernest, holding an ultrasound picture.
The Buckingham Palace also confirmed the pregnancy in a statement, saying, “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer,” adding that the couple’s boys are ready for the new baby.

They wrote, “August (aged 5) and Ernest (aged 2) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family.” Moreover, they confirmed that the news has “delighted” their uncle, King Charles.
Eugenie shared the announcement on Instagram, adding a picture of August and Ernest sitting together with the baby scan, marking a rare event from a royal couple who do not often put their children in the public eye. In the caption, Eugenie wrote, “Baby Brooksbank due 2026! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️??♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️.”
Eugenie and the Royal Family announced the news just a day after Brooksbank celebrated his 40th birthday, and Eugenie had celebrated the occasion with a photo carousel on Instagram.
The couple tied the knot in October 2018 at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, after several years of staying together. Together, they welcomed their first son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, in February 2021, and their second son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, was born in May 2023.
