The “Love Me Like You Do” hitmaker posted the Story around eight weeks after she welcomed Iris, her first child with boyfriend Beau Minniear, on March 6. Goulding also shares her son Arthur with ex-husband Caspar Jopling.
The pop singer announced her daughter’s birth in March through an Instagram Story, writing, “On Friday, I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. We are totally obsessed with her.” Moreover, she thanked the team at St Mary’s Hospital, saying, “I will always be in awe of midwives.”
The singer further said, “This addition to my family fills me with so much joy, especially as Arthur is so so happy to become a big brother to this little angel.”
Before Iris arrived, Goulding spoke openly about pregnancy and work. In a January interview with NYLON, she said, “Not every woman has this luxury.” She added, “I have amazing people around me,” as she revealed, “I’m still working every day and still writing every day. It’s just that I am growing a human inside me.”
