In the Tuesday, May 5 episode of Summer House, Lindsay Hubbard put herself in the middle of Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s crumbling marriage. She attempted to serve as a mediator, encouraging them to calmly address their issues, but what transpired was far from peaceful.
Here’s what you need to know.
Lindsay has feelings on being in the middle of Kyle and Amanda
In Episode 14, Lindsay admitted she feels torn between Kyle and Amanda, saying she can’t help but get involved in their relationship.
“It’s like, look, I think that Amanda deserves more than she’s been getting,” she said in a confessional. “I also love Kyle, and I’ve known Kyle more than anybody in this house, including Carl [Radke]. And as much as he’s in the wrong, he has feelings too, and it just… I cannot help but, like, go full-blown mama bear mode and be like, ‘What is going on? And how can I help? Because we can’t keep doing this.'”
Later in the episode, Lindsay decided confront Kyle for signing with a manager, despite Amanda’s reservations about his DJ career.
“Did you ask Amanda before you made this decision or did you make the decision on your own? she asked. “Did you have a conversation, as a partner, with your wife, before you decided?”
Kyle became defensive, clarifying that he hadn’t signed the contract yet. When Lindsay pushed back, pointing out the importance on consulting your partner about big decisions, he became defensive. He blamed Amanda for the conversation, throwing a “f*ck you” in her direction.
Kyle and Amanda announced their separation in January 2026 via a joint Instagram statement.
The statement read, “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple. We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the next day.
