Kelly Clarkson has sent her fans into a frenzy with her new career move. After stepping down from her daytime show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” her fans were eager to know about her plans. Now, with the NBC announcement via Instagram, it is confirmed that the singer will return for another season of “The Voice.”
“Team Kelly has RE-entered the chat. Kelly Clarkson returns as a Coach this fall on The Voice!,” mentioned the official “The Voice” account alongside the video of some of Clarkson’s best moments from the show. Soon after the announcement, fans could not keep calm and beelined to the comments section of the post. “THANK THE HEAVENS SHE BACK AHHHH,” said one follower, while another person also expressed joy and commented, “Love when Kelly is on the Voice!”
As per USA Today, Clarkson will join fellow coach Adam Levine on “The Voice” Season 30. Although the show has rotated celebrity coaches, Clarkson remained on the show for eight seasons, during which she won four times as a coach. The singer came back for season 23 before making a grand return for season 29, dubbed “The Voice: Battle Of Champions,” alongside Levine and John Legend.
Clarkson’s return marks a new chapter in her career after announcing the end of her daytime show on February 2. At the time, NBCUniversal’s news release described her move as “personal decision to step away from hosting a talk show after this season.” Even the singer shared a heartfelt message about her decision on her Instagram, saying, ”This isn’t goodbye. I’ll still be making music, playing shows here and there, and you may catch me on ‘The Voice’ from time to time … you never know where I might show up next.”
