Britney Spears has been doing her best to stay off the grid. While her image has been dragged through the mud since her DUI arrest, the pop singer has been out of the spotlight herself for weeks in her healing journey.
The mother of two underwent rehab following that arrest in a facility that seemed to be almost completely off the beaten path. Privacy is something that she might be desperately craving these days amid all her struggles and the backlash she’s been subject to.

Dealing with her problems as privately as possible appears to be Britney’s goal. TMZ reports that the Toxic singer received treatment outside the spotlight at Borden Cottage. The small New England town in Camden, Maine, has a rural treatment facility. That’s where Britney reportedly got a double dose of care for substance abuse issues, along with mental health services.
Despite being under the blood alcohol limit when she was arrested in early March, Britney is still owning up to her actions. She pleaded guilty in court this month to a wet reckless charge. Britney did this to avoid jail time after she was pulled over for erratic driving.
Britney’s voluntary rehab took place at a private center on a 14-acre estate that offers ideal one-on-one care. The program she did is said to be a mixture of clinical therapy with holistic options such as meditation and art therapy. She also had access to private chefs, a gym, a pool, and other recreational facilities.
While Britney won’t be spending time behind bars, there are some strict rules she must follow. As part of her 12-month probation, she cannot have any drugs without a valid prescription. In addition, Britney will regularly visit a psychologist and psychiatrist as part of her continued treatment. It seems like Britney is being extra cautious not to violate the terms of the probation. She has a chauffeur taking her wherever she needs to go.
