King Charles’ Aide Wants To Reunite Prince William & Prince Harry — Report

Theo Rycroft, who became King Charles’s private secretary in December 2024, reportedly sees the feud between Prince William and Prince Harry as a wound that needs attention instead of distance. A source claims that Rycroft is blunt about his view. In that, the King’s aide allegedly “thinks it’s time to knock their heads together,” and believes that “the mood is, ‘He’s not wrong.’”

King Charles’ new aide understands his ‘great pain’ caused by Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud, claims source

The Mirror highlights that Prince William and Prince Harry have not spoken since Queen Elizabeth II’s death in 2022, and Theo Rycroft allegedly understands the “great pain” the situation causes King Charles. Besides, the confidante reportedly believes that the stalemate has dragged on long enough and “sees his job as helping the King resolve it.”

Rycroft gained respect among royal watchers, especially after handling tricky diplomacy as he worked closely with Charles and William on various matters, with insiders now claiming that his history with the Prince of Wales is crucial. The two already have a working relationship, which might give Rycroft the standing to approach a subject others tiptoe around.

Additionally, the source stated, “Theo believes that Harry and William need to be forced to shake hands and allow Charles to repair his relationship with Harry.” Notably, a potential meeting between the King and Harry could come as early as next year, when the Duke of Sussex visits the U.K. for the Invictus Games in Birmingham, and many would resist mingling with the Sussexes. However, the source claimed that Rycroft would not be among those looking to block such a meeting.

The path to a reunion between William and Harry is reportedly far from clear, but inside Charles’ household, there is now a person who wants to break past the awkwardness and force a conversation. But whether that effort will break through years of silence or just hit a wall of stubbornness is something no one can yet answer.
