Donald Trump Defends Junk Food, Says Healthy People ‘Kick the Bucket’

U.S. President Donald Trump recently defended the consumption of junk food. During his latest speech at the White House, the 79-year-old bragged about feeling young and credited burgers and fries. As a joke, he commented on healthy people, claiming that they “kick the bucket” even after following the right diet. He compared it to his lifestyle, which reportedly includes junk food items.

Donald Trump says he ‘feels the same as he did 50 years ago’ amid junk food rant

Donald Trump’s love for junk food is not something new. He has often been captured speaking about his fondness for fried and greasy food items. Recently, he brought up the same topic once again during his speech at the White House. The video has caught everyone’s attention.

While he sat in his chair, many people younger than him stood behind him. The president looked at them and quipped, saying, “I am one of the young ones. I am the same age as all of you.” As the crowd laughed, he continued, “I feel the same as I did 50 years ago.”

Furthermore, he explained that it’s not because he has the best food habits. According to the politician, junk food could seemingly be better than healthy options. He also claimed that he has known “many people who watch their weight” and eat healthy. “They kick the bucket and here we are, I feel great,” Trump said.

Earlier, a report suggested that the U.S. president was reportedly told not to offer fast food to King Charles during the latter’s White House visit. Allegedly, he was “repeatedly” advised not to even joke about it. “There was a clear directive behind the scenes that fast food should not feature in any part of the King’s itinerary – it would be seen as entirely out of step with his values,” a source told RadarOnline.
