The recent roast between Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart was a masterclass in comedic timing, brutal honesty, and the kind of banter that only years of shared history can produce. Johnson held nothing back while roasting his Jumanji costar in an NSFW moment during Hart’s Netflix special, The Roast of Kevin Hart.
Dwayne Johnson goes off on Kevin Hart at Netflix roast
Dwayne Johnson unleashed a savage, NSFW takedown of Kevin Hart during the comedian’s Netflix roast.
After a dramatic entrance with special effects and We Will Rock You playing, Johnson got straight to the jabs. “Now, I know what you’re all assuming is that I’m here to carry another shitty Kevin Hart vehicle, but for once, that’s not the case,” the Black Adam actor said. “I’m actually here tonight because someone needs to chew up Kevin’s food and spit it in his mouth. Isn’t that right? My little chocolate baby bird” (via Variety).
Next, Johnson labeled Hart a “little Burnt Oompa-Loompa,” before pivoting to roasting Hart’s wife. “I want to just take a moment to give a shout-out to all the ladies up here on this dais. You all look beautiful, magnificent, sexy. You know who else looks sexy? Kevin’s wife, Eniko,” he said.
As Hart exclaimed, “What the f**k,” Johnson shot back, saying, “I’m just giving her compliments!” Johnson went on to say that Eniko “deserves an Academy Award for pretending she likes to f**k you.” He then suggested they spend time together over drinks, adding that he finally understood Hart’s appeal to women. The Fast & Furious star joked that Hart’s stature and personality make him resemble their “favorite d**do,” only louder.
Johnson closed his roast by telling Kevin Hart that he loved him and joking that he’d got a life-size tattoo of the Lift actor as proof. Hart, however, pushed back, asking why Johnson would comment about his wife. Johnson, in response, said, “But you’re the one who said, ‘Hey, listen, f***ing say anything you want!’”
The live special aired on Sunday at 5 p.m. PT, closing out Netflix Is a Joke Fest.
