All season long, Summer House stars KJ Dillard and Mia Calabrese shared a secret connection. As KJ just revealed, he and Mia are connected by their extended families. And, wildly, this reveal seemingly came as a shock to Mia as well.
The Summer House stars and their families are connected
Newbie KJ is a model and professional skateboarder. Meanwhile, Mia, another new cast member, is a top-performing licensed real estate salesperson and broker at Nest Seekers International in New York City. She is also Ciara Miller’s actual best friend. “I’m like the kindergartner, and Ciara is the edgy, cool high school girl,” Mia joked during her first appearance in Episode 2.
This season, KJ, Mia, and Ciara formed an incredibly tight and supportive bond. This trio breathed so much life into a rather dark and weird era in this series. But, as it turns out, KJ and Mia shared a connection long before they ever made their debut on Summer House.
In a newly posted picture, KJ just revealed, “My mom and @miagcalabrese’s sister were college roommates and friends.” In the picture, we see two females and a tiny swaddled baby. As KJ noted, that was him “as a baby with both of them.”
In the comments, Mia exclaimed, “I still cannot believe this! So insane. We’ve been family forever!”
Andy Cohen agreed. He found their connection “incredible!” So did Dara Levitan. “Life is so beautiful,” Dara penned.
Dara and KJ definitely needed something positive to dwell on this week. Following the Season 10 reunion taping, this newly-formed couple “ran away” to breathe and regroup in Mexico.” “I was expecting a lot, and it was still even more than that,” Dara recently confessed.
Given her statement, alongside everything else that has leaked about this heated, emotional taping, no one blames them.
