Summer House stars Dara Levitan and KJ Dillard took some much needed R&R after filming the emotional Season 10 reunion. The couple recently stopped by the Bravo Clubhouse where they dished about the intense ten-hour filming process that required a recovery vacation.
KJ and Dara got out of town…
On the Tuesday, May 5 episode of Watch What Happens Live, KJ and Dara revealed that they took a trip to Mexico after filming the reunion.
“We ran away after to Mexico for a little,” Dara told Andy Cohen. “That night, the both of us, we were crying and talking for hours and hours just going over everything.”
“We needed that,” KJ added.
Dara spoke candidly about what it felt like for the cast to reunite for the first time in the wake of the scandal.
“I was expecting a lot, and it was still even more than that,” she said. “I think that as someone who’s so new to these relationships, there is so much hurt. And there was so much depth to it. There were traumas and wounds that I didn’t even expect to come out that were expressed. And I really respect everyone [that] laid their hearts out on the line.”
KJ and Dara aren’t the only Summer House cast members opening up about their reunion experience. West Wilson recently shared his thoughts on the May 5 episode of his podcast, Show Me Something.
“These are my friends, and I’ve caused a lot of damage, which f*cking sucks,” he said. “It’s gonna take time, for sure. Doing the reunion was one step. Got through [it] and we’re on the other side of it. Reunions aren’t fun.”
“It’s the darkest form of therapy,” he added.”You don’t normally get that much feedback on how your actions impact other people.”
