Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have allegedly broken up. Recently, there have been reports of the couple facing problems in their relationship. Now, as per a source, they have finally decided to part ways.

According to The Sun, Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have broken up. Insiders close to the pair told the outlet that problems in their relationship increased after the arrival of their baby girl, Scottie Rose. A source stated that the comedian’s busy schedule took a toll on their romance, leading to separation. “Pete has been traveling so much for work, but Elsie was craving more support from him at home after their daughter was born,” the insider said.

The individual further added, “It was very hard for him because, obviously, he has to work to make money.” Another source claimed the duo split up recently and are prioritising their daughter. The source continued, “They are just focusing 100% on Scottie. Working out the best co-parenting solution is their top priority.” Moreover, the insider shared that the relationship was coming to an end last month while Davidson was selling out his properties.

“Pete is selling his properties, including his upstate home and his Staten Island apartment, to open up funds as they move forward and figure out their next steps,” the insider said. Previously, the publication reported about the pair facing problems in their relationship during Hewitt’s early stages of pregnancy. “It’s getting out of control,” the source shared. They further explained, “They’ve even started secretly recording each other.”

Davidson and Hewitt’s breakup rumors were also fueled by the latter’s Mother’s Day post. The model shared snaps from her pregnancy journey, but Davidson was missing. This month, PEOPLE also reported on the two trying to figure out problems in their relationship. “There are issues, but they’re trying to figure things out together,” the source claimed. They continued, “They’re adjusting to parenthood and working through the process,” and their child is “their top priority.”
