Jason Biggs and Jenny Mollen are officially going their separate ways after nearly two decades together. The longtime couple quietly separated after 18 years of marriage, though insiders insist there’s no dramatic Hollywood implosion happening behind the scenes.
A representative for the pair confirmed the breakup on Thursday and highlighted that Biggs and Mollen remain on “great terms”. They will even continue to raisie their two sons together.

According to PEOPLE, the “American Pie” star and Mollen have decided to separate after building one of Hollywood’s more low-key and surprisingly long-lasting marriages.
The former couple share two children, Sid, 12, and Lazlo, 8, and sources close to them say family remains the priority despite the split.
“They are doing great,” one insider told PEOPLE, adding that the pair recently celebrated Biggs’ 48th birthday together as a family. Honestly, that detail alone probably says a lot about where things currently stand between them.
“They are very much connected,” the source continued. “I have no doubt that they will remain on excellent terms.”
Biggs and Mollen first met while filming the 2008 comedy My Best Friend’s Girl. Things moved quickly after that. They got engaged in January of the same year before quietly eloping just months later. Later that summer, they held a second wedding ceremony in Napa Valley with close friends and family.
Over the years, the couple became known for keeping their relationship relatively private while still occasionally giving fans chaotic little glimpses into their dynamic through social media. Mollen, especially, built a reputation for her dry humor and brutally honest posts about marriage, parenting, and life in general.
Just last month, the pair celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary online. “17 years of this,” Mollen wrote alongside videos of Biggs acting goofy around their kids. That’s partly why the split caught fans off guard.
Biggs is best known for playing Jim Levenstein in the “American Pie” franchise, while Mollen built her own career as both an actress and bestselling author. Most recently, the two appeared together in the comedy “Influenced.”
